Just a random thought on the “church” funds at a location in Washington being used at fast food businesses and bong shops: the fast food, who am I to say what others should eat, I like junk food, myself. But I’m having a little bit of trouble with the bong shops—no way to stretch my imagination on this. Bong shop just screams “extra curricular”, or whatever is the religious equivalent of that concept!
And regarding the Kevin Edelman notes, I think that was from the petition on the 10/5/2021 filing in Tarrant County district court?
Shelley said when he was installed as pastor of Stedfast in Jan. 2019 that he, Edelman and Ryan Urbanek were appointed directors. He said Edelman resigned the following month and was replaced with Keri Shelley.
But Leslye Romero, Seth Bookout and Ryan Gallagher all said in their response that they were directors and had fired Shelley 9 months earlier when they discovered something like 180k of his personal and household expenses on the church books.
